Never Thought I Would Love It So Much

New here guys, got my RIII Roadster 3 weeks ago to the day ...I am a long time rider but mostly of the Standard//Streetfighter variety. I randomly checked my local dealer after being tempted by the Indian FTR ads I started seeing. I test drove a 2015 R3 w 40 miles and immediately pushed aside the doubts of what I thought was going to be a boring cruiser. I had read and researched it, but couldn’t believe how nimble it was. I traded in my ZRX1200R and made a deal the same day. Needless to say, I’m at about 800 miles now and totally hooked and I’m love. Only thing is the loose mirror that I need to figure how how to tighten down, which to seem to be a common issue with this beast.

Looks like you have gotten a great bike.

I think that you should look at getting the sissy backrest for the young person.

Would be easy to slide off the seat under hard accerating.

I’m sure the FTR is a fine toy but these are monster bikes. I’ve got a 2014 in the same color but had chrome pipes that I switched out for the black Viking pipe looking more like what you have. I hope you don’t get bored with its lack of power but just know that can be fixed.

Fixing the loose mirror requires the part that @Jag mentions as well as the spacer and a torque wrench.
