Bad news, Dude, but is it possible that because of the extended lifespan of your car tire that you forgot to grease your splines every +/- 10,000 miles or so?

No I grease it around evry 10000 miles

Get the thunderbird let him have yours and he can keep his for parts

I would check pinwheel on ebay for the parts.......they have final drives all the time and I just saw a drive shaft on ebay......just put "Triumph rocket iii" (no quotes) in search and start looking......you can get them very cheap and changing them out is not difficult either......good luck! Watching anxiously for outcome

i would if i was doing it kmutt but i have a extended warrenty so that will be paying for the work being done at the dealer
