I have been working on my lights for the upcoming spring rides. I have my Deer lights ready to go and everything is on switches. I limited myself to no more than a net of 9 amps or less than 100 watts. All front lights have an Alert setting that flashes all lights. I will video that later, but they are VERY effective.
I have been riding for over 40 years. Most of that time was spent on single track dirt riding. Now that group of people know off road lights. I am not sure what is legal where, but here I am OK and have never been stopped. And Yes, I did Alert flash a Motorcycle LEO this morning and all he did was give me a thumbs up and I drove by.
The light project has included 2 - 2000 lumens on the forks, 2 - 2800 lumens on crash bar. And 10 P3 Turn and Alert yellow lights. I have replaced the rear signals and the brake light with LED, There is a good savings on power there.
Anyway, More info later, just wanted to show you TOO MUCH light!!
First ....low beam..Stock no other lights..

The lights up front are very yellow. They just look red in the photo. I live in Idaho and you can’t flash red, blue, or green up front. I have made a copy of the Idaho law on front lights and have it on the bike and ready to show any small town Leo’s that are not current with the laws.
The flashing is with Yellow and white light only.

Thanks for comment…

Stay out of Minnesota that's way illegal in this state
First off to many lights and red to front illegal
Four lights to the front on at once is the limit and must be white

Here is what the rear looks like.... Google search P3 led lights. Easy to install. This was my FIRST wire project....ever....

Thats what i want for the back!
Can you post info on the product? You can never have too much light at the back

I got some LED for my rear turn signals from trick-lights.com. They now work not only as flashers, but as runnibg lights as well. Provides a lot more light fo the back of the bike. I have been very happy with them. They were pricey though...

These are additional pictures of the lights. “I don’t know MR. Police Officer, but those lights sure look yellow to me”. And modulating headlights for a motorcycle is legal in all 50 States. It is a federal law and supersedes all state or local law. Also, the flashing yellows are part of the braking system and triggered with brake lever…again federal law…. Have a nice day sir……
Anyway, that is what I expect to say to the first LEO stop…. Again, these are more for deer spotting and alerting cars with DB (d… Bags) drivers, that look at you and still pull out in front of you. This has stopped since using these in Flash mode. The brake lights have 7 settings. 3 different brake and 4 emergency flash patterns.

They have covers....
