Lets Talk Cams

I agree, shoudl be a given that if you want to make serious power on a Rocket you need intake and exhaust.

Only been on this site a couple months and I've really enjoyed the information that I've gotten from other members. I do have one question though. does Carpenter racing have another website that I have not been able to find that actually list more products that are sold such as cams, pistons, valve train, etc... where I don't have to buy as either a 210, 240, or 270 kit? and while I'm asking a price list? With all the Speed records that Carpenter racing holds there is no doubt that their products are top notch but I'm kind of used to looking at websites like MTC eng. Vance and Hines and R/C Engineering where you could pick out individual parts.

THE EXHAUST is $1500 in stainless and $1800 polished and we have made 227hp with a 210 kit

I contacted Bob Carpenter by email & phone, he was very helpful, emailed me prices of the parts I was interested in & shipped them promptly
When he did a head for me he helped me out with a cam carrier, absolutely no complaints.

This really isn't Rocket Science guys and there haven't been any half truths posted here other than by wiseguys who do know or should know that any internal mechanical performance upgrades simply require optimal intake and exhaust set-ups to make maximum power.

Otherwise you end up with something like this... (Trojan horse?)

Carpenter really isn't a parts supply house like those you mentioned but he's a super nice guy and will sell you parts as needed. He's an engine builder, mostly.
