Leatherman, Swiss, Kershaw, CRKT etc

I have a Leatherman, Swiss Army Knife and an assortment of hex keys and sockets under my seat. Out of them all the Leatherman gets the most use.

And on 3 occasions I have pulled over and got a cager out of trouble with my Leatherman...

Not saying it's the best but definitely a good bit of kit ;)

You are all rippas!!! Now I have a few options and was really only going to go with the Leatherman..

Thanks blokes!

I used the kershaw because of the visegrip lock '
had it for 11 years great for many jobs even for tying flies when flyfishing where both hands are needed to finish the fly.

if there are fly fishermen here I will let you in on how to do that

I absolutely love the Leatherman products. They do the job and they're guaranteed for life. I have "a few" of them in their various designs.

However, for a heavier duty all-purpose tool I prefer the Gerber. It will cut barbed wire consistently where I've broken a Leatherman doing it.:(

Why am I cutting barbed wire so often you ask?

Ahhh, that's a whole different story...;)

I have a leatherman and a super leatherman. I prefer the latter because even though it's huge the tools lock in place. The regular/original leatherman stays in the car's center console. The Super goes in the saddlebags.

victorinox not wenger

i guess you would say i'm partial to swiss army--looks like the reverse proportions of the red/black/other conundrum--bill
