Is that Triumph a Toy?

He started it .. i'd torment the ****ter out of him all weekend .. I would not miss one opportunity... what is it they say " find out what he doesn't like and give him plenty of it" .. we are counting on you to represent us Rocket Owners , do us proud Cardinal :p

I'm by nature about as easy going as they get...but I'm sure I'll subtly berate him a million times in a wonderfully smiling sarcastic way. My plan is to enjoy all weekend that I know I'm digging on him, he laughs, and not until Monday does he realize, Da*n, he insulted the Sh** out of me!:D
I'll do my best with the photos...really wish my GoPro mount had come in!

bloke at work rides a sportster and I parked my rocket next to it one time. Anywy we wher all walking past them at lunch and someone says to me loud enough for the sporty owner to hear Look mitch your bike had a baby lol he wasn't impressed
:roll::roll::roll::roll::roll:

hmmm

Whenever I sense a little attitude from someone riding a Harley I am always quick to compliment them on such fine purchase. Then while he is basking in my compliment I will ask him if you can get his bike in a MENS. That usually shuts them down.:p

We like Sportsters a lot and consider them fine motorbikes. But they cannot begin to match the Beast in any measurable. Riding together may be very enlightening... for him. You won't have any need of verbal sparing. Enjoy the ride.

We trudge on.

Nothing wrong with a well sorted 1200 Sporty. Good bike I reckon. Handle well and power to weight will round up most of the larger capacity Harleys... problem is that some Harley riders just need a little 'right sizing' at times. Especially the ones running around on the reputation of those that went before them. Seem to think that outlaying the cash somehow turns them into some sort of modern day 'outlaw' .. sad but true :cool:

Of course not, Hell, I love riding my wife's STriple! And the worst laydown I've ever had was on a Slingshot.:eek:
But when the first words out of his mouth are calling the rocket a toy and asking if I have a harley, I can't help but be offended and become offensive :D Sometimes you just have to put an orange and black wannabe rider in his place! 5 will give you 20 every piece of clothing he has on, down to his smelly socks, will have some sort of HD emblem on them:p
I was also informed I couldn't ride to the event with their group because it was "harley's only" and I didn't have a "HOG card":eek: Whatever the hell that is :D
I personally don't care what brand or style of steed the guy next to me is on, as long as he loves to ride as much as I do

Here you can use my HOG card

remember you will be in the front so they will be following you.:D

Show him this list of learner approved bikes from the ACT (Australian Capital Territory). The years are indicative. Includes pretty much the entire HD range including 1200 Sportsters (and some of the 103ci "bad boys"). :roll:
