The XR1200 Sportster will give the rocket a run for its money on tight twisty roads in fact my money with the same skill riders would be on the XR1200.

I actually like Harleys but I don't try to compare them with the rocket ofcourse . I also like a lot of sport bikes and other breeds of bike but I don't compare them to the Rocket . They all have good and bad attributes. I like the rocket because it is butt ugly its huge got heaps of torque its comfy and great on long trips and its definitely unique and an attention getter . Fast it is not. for a cruiser yes but in comparison to actual fast bikes No. its the torque I love def a great machine.

Id own most Harleys and id enjoy riding them and owning them but id never compare their torque to the ball tearing torque of our 2300cc bad boy.

Well spoken Mitch!! I must say I like the look of the Fat Bob too and as you said if money was no object it would be nice to have one in a stable alongside a Busa' and a Street Triple to name just a few
