I wish Triumph would build a Rocket III standard again

Having the pleasure in getting to know many people on this site I can say without a doubt that Brent AKA Torque Addict is a good man. I doubt very much if he has had his foot in his mouth as many times as I have!!!!!! Fortunately I have gained the ability to work on my Rocket whilst hopping on one foot Not that its fun or anything!!!!!

Yep I agree, I've had the opportunity to exchange a couple messages with him since this happened, he's all right by me.

Agree with you Fred .. the older silver engine models with the choice of paintjobs would be a good move by Triumph .. but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for it to happen though.

Fred i have to say my feelings exactly,sometimes i wonder if there are any of us left out there. I was disappointed when they anounced the end of the Standard. I've always gone the extra yard when it comes to maintaining and sheltering her. I'll keep her as long as i can and if that day comes when we part ways i was thinking maybe BMW GTL 1600 that said i could die tomorrow but i'll take with me some great memories

I'm ok with less chrome, but more color choices would be nice.

The thing about chrome is that it's easier black out than the reverse. Manufacturers should leave the customising to the owner IMO.

I like the standered I think that was the one like the roadster but had foot boards instead of pegs but I dont fancy the silver eng but thats me

If I understand right the one with floor boards was the "classic".

That's right, classic two tone with floor boards are still my favorite stock setup, black or silver motor...
