I want a Custom Exhaust for my Rocket

I am willing to spread the wealth if he is ok with it and we ultimately use his design...
MCC my local Triumph shop has a Dyno but the one guy I would trust with my bike on a dyno no longer works there.
Still looking at tuners in the area.

I am looking at a 3 into 1 with ramair/kn filters and a dobeck afr for under $1500.oo to the masses... which means the pipes need to come in around 800 to make some coin...

R3Tex, You might want to talk to Travelguy on the dotcom site. He has made many different exhaust systems that really put some extra power to the ground. He would most likely be able to save you a lot of trial and error time by just chatting with him.

I can discuss it with Lushy and see what he reckons .

Had a bloke over here organised to make us headers. Quoted $800AUD a set , wanted a guarantee of at least 15 sets to make it viable to make up a jig. I had 20 sets sold .. and the prick went and bailed on the deal. Think perhaps he underquoted , attempts to get him to re-quote failed. I may have spoken to him 'sternly' on a couple of occasions  probably didn't help ... in hindsight.

A great thread Tex!
I would prefer a three into one for simplicity sake.
Only two requirements I would wish for are no burning right leg.
Little if any upsweep to the rear in order to leave as much room as possible for panniers.
OK three - I would prefer chrome but, would compromise if it had all else.

Have sold my TIG and tube benders; so, I am of no help here.
Wish I knew of a Tripp wanna be tuner up here in the Northwest.

I believe there are 2 types of system needed.

1. A free flowing header that hooks up to stock pipes - which also means TORS, Staintunes and all the other pipes that many of us already have, andmaybe want to keep

2. a full system with 3 into 1 or whatever configuration is desired.

I'm very keen on the first option. I have a set of Dennis Foran pipes that connect to the stock header just rear of the O2 sensor and I'd like to keep them. Something like this is what I'm after - and is the design that TC had been investigating. This set is on Gothlander's bike and were made by Sam (travelguy) who sadly has said he won't make any more. He also made the headers that Hanso and Evil Mitch have. I have no idea how that compare to Reband or Carpenter performance wise, but I do know they'd be well and truly good enough and besides, it's the look I want. If these can be made and be able to connect to my Foran pipes for around a grand I'd snap them up.

Do you hav a pic of the collector and where it ties to the pipes? I am bringing all kinds of pics to the guy I am seeing later in the week just to show different options

I believe the place to start is the header as there are already several options for pipes, crossovers, etc. so I'm in with Canberra. If I wanted a 3-1 pipe I would probably already have ordered one from Reband or Carpenter

Same here that heavy I need options for where it ties in since it's tight on space...
