I let my Rocket go

I began encountering issues after doing a brake bleed when installing mid controls on my Rocket 3 storm gt( specifically the hill hold stopped working). At first I thought it was because the bleed wasnt properly done. Then because I had used incorrect brake fluid. However after everything had been checked by the dealer without fault found the issue remained . It then began to get worse when all the rider aids including abs and traction control stopped working.The dealer workshop ( not the one i bought the bike from) advised that an electronic control box under the seat was water logged and that was the underlying cause of the issues. After a somewhat lengthy wait a new control box was supplied and installed. The service manager asked if I would continue to leave the bike with them so that they could take it on a few rides to ensure no more issues popped up. I agreeed and within a day they called to tell me that faults were still showing. Out of frustration I asked if they would buy the bike from me which they promptly agreed to. They paid me circa $3500 less than i paid and my beauty is gone. I am simultaneously relieved and upset at letting it go! All i have left are memories photos and an unfitted tail tidy

Sad news

This is a typical example of why I dislike having all this complicated stuff on modern vehicles.
Once they develop a fault or get damaged in some way, no one can get to the problem and fix it and people are forced to give up or risk big bills in the pursuit of rectifying the problem.
