How much gas does a 2.5L Rocket really hold ?

I'm more comfortable with a 200 miles plus fuel range. I took a 261 mile ride today on my 2024 Tiger 900 Gt today. The fuel light came on when I was 4 blocks from home. I went riding today because it was 95 degees out. I needed to see how I can do in the heat after my Cancer treatments side effects have mostly cleared up. I did well. I was out in the heat for almost 7 hours and I am fine tonight. ( I need a shower). I drank some water every 1 to 1.5 hours. I know its going to be very hot on my 4,000 mile ride. I'm leaving on Saturday. Pray for safety and good running bike for me. BTW: I will be off the Forum while I'm away on this trip about 14 days.
