Help 2008 r3 touring not starting

OK. Spark is verified, so now it's fuel or spark timing. Clean the crank angle sensor and then make sure all the electrical connections are clean and tight. It would be a great help to know if the fuel pump discharge pressure is correct. Do you have a fuel pump pressure guage?

Thanks I'll try to get to that, but I still want to make sure I have the evaporator can hoses right, and reset the codes first. I can hear the pump coming on and shutting down I guess when it's up to pressure, I have a fuel gage somewhere, but at least I can disconnect the hose to the injector rail and see if I have flow. Thanks for the quick reply 👍 my charger wasn't working, had to borrow one, have 1 on order shumaker

Hi group I recently took off my throttle body's ,sent out the injectors and got them back and put it all back together but was confused about the way the vacuum hoses hooked up, my question is if i have them routed wrong will the bike not start at all dont think im getting spark and the fuel pump is pumping up when I turn the key please help, in the keys and the closest Triumph dealer is about 4 hrs away. Thank you all
was the bike running correctly before you sent off injectors? Or before you took off throttle bodies? And before you removed the vacuum hoses? You have spark verified as per your starter fluid test, have you confirmed connections on fuel rail wiring harnes? You said ignition plug was not plugged in all the way and you got 9 codes, have you verified connections to fuel injectors, on that short wiring harness for throttle bodies. I dont think you ever said bike would start before you removed throttle bodies or sent off injectors removing vac lines and wiring harness connections on injectors, tps, water temp, and stepper all on that harness. Your reply might help the guys zero in on issue, if everything was good before you mechanic on it i would go back over work, i can kinda tell you think its vac lines and very well could be, if the vacuum is jacked up, uneven lines will do it, it wont start or struggles to start. Its also not hard for the throttle bodies to be put on not quite right and mess everything up vacuum wise.

For me, if it's not a glaring problem, it's better to start at most likely issue and follow it through until confirming or dismissing and then to next possible issue. Jumping around serves no purpose and just leads to frustration. Sorry Kevin, not questing you, your post just happened to be on the screen when I started my comment.

No not all you’re exactly right.

Yes Kevin bike was running rough before I sent out the injectors, so it's something I did wrong and the only thing I'm not sure about is the vacuum lines, it has the California emissions can and not sure of its connections as they are hard to see once they go behind the frame, plus also hopefully resetting the codes does something or maybe get less of them, I haven't been working with scanners long, but wasn't ready for 9 faults. Thank You guys for the input!!!

Update vacuum lines are correct, cleared codes, none came back, got good flow of fuel to the rail, guess my next option is check the injectors are good and getting a voltage signal, have to get some test leads. Oh and check connections at ecu, I checked the fuses again ok. Thanks guys for all the help

I don't get it, it has spark, getting 12.7 volt to injectors, they ohm out to 11.4 ohms resistant, guess it's time to check the pressure of the fuel pump, bad gas ethanol free maybe 2 months ago

A similar problem on another forum turned out to be a clogged fuel filter. Replacing the filter and pressure regulator solved his problem, but he tested his fuel pressure first and found 10 psi to the injectors, it needs 43.
