Mully.....I am sorry that I always put an E in your name.....I have done that ever since I have known you...

Rocket Scientist.......the words from you have so much more meaning to me than you will ever know.....Thank you

1K9...... I live less than 8 miles from Duke Medical Center............but with Medicare and supplemental Ins. Duke is useless as tits on a boar hog..........98% of all medical facilities in the City of Medicine......AKA...Durham NC will not even touch me.
I copied your message to me and I will print it out for my Doctor to look at.......She is trying to find a heart doctor in this area to see me as we speak.

As for the rest of you true gentlemen thank you for your encouraging words......it truly means the world to me....

Medicare is great insurance. Why will they not touch you??? You just have to stop falling. It's either an arrhythmia, irregular hear beat (easy fix too) or bad flow to the back of the brain as a result of blockage in one of the subclavian arteries of blockage of the vertebral arteries, as I described earlier. The problem could be further down stream but then it get's complicated. Vestibular problems don't cause drop attacks. Previous heart attack with or without coronary surgery is no big deal and certainly not a contraindication to fix you. Your PAD can't be that bad as I see you still have both of your legs. When you go to the Dr. ask them to take your arm blood pressures in both arms and listen for bruits in the base of the neck. They should be within 10 points of each other. If one side is lower, that's the problem side. If the pressures are normal and the neck ultrasound is also normal, you need to see the cardiologist. Good luck.

Ah.... don't sweat it. I don't pay that kind of stuff any attention.

I really do like that trike you had. A BMW trike ..... man that was a nice one. You sure you had the tires pump up to the correct psi? LOL
I've never rode a trike before but have rode a three wheel ATV. My dad bought one when I was a young whooper snapper. After riding dirt bikes for so long then hoping on that three wheeler...... man what a difference. It was a strange feeling riding that thing but over time I got so used to it that I rode it all the time because it was so fun. Sold my dirt bike.... lol

I can just about imagine what a big giant three wheeler would feel like on asphalt. Dirt gives asphalt will not.

Sounds like you and the doc are working on getting some things straightened out. That's good..... I'd worry about the small things later. :)

Mully.....It was a beautiful trike...and rode like a Cadillac...but that was the problem....it was so far from riding a motorcycle it hurt

I bought that thing and rode 850 miles back home and by the time I got home I was wishing I had never saw it. I knew I was not ever going to like riding it.

That trike was as nice to ride as it looked and it had every option that you could ever ask for. Going down the interstate at 75 mph was like sitting in your recliner at home. Music, CD changer, I-Pod, CB radio, cruise control and heated everything...........just awesome. I could smoke a cigarette and the ashes would not blow off unless you held it out from behind the windshield. Plus at 70+ mph you would not get wet anywhere.....legs, feet, upper body as long as you did not stop and stayed away from tractor trailers.
My hands did get wet after awhile.....but that was it.

Before anyone buys a trike I strongly advise as to ride one as much as you can before dropping $ 30+K into one.
People talk about how bad a Rocket rides after going to the dark side (I like the dark side ) It is a 1000 times worse to ride a trike!!!
You have to force a turn to the right or left....it only likes to go straight. I rode it to the Dragon....the interstate was a dream to get there.......the Dragon was a nightmare....by the time I made it to the overlook I was wore out, my arms, shoulders and back felt like I had been in the gym doing a very hard workout. Not one bit of fun riding the trike on the dragon. I made one trip on the dragon ....spent the night and came home the next day. A totally wasted trip.

All this is just my .02 cents worth

1K9

I have an appointment with a heart doctor tomorrow....my reg. doctor made it for me.

I will print out all you have written to me and show it to him. I do know I have a blockage in the big upside down Y that feeds blood to the legs it is on the left side in the middle of my belly .....that was found in 2007....just before I lost my job and Ins.
So I never had anything done about it.........there are times that my toe nail have a bluish color to them and I have a hard time standing for 20 min. or walking........if I walk to fast or to long my feet go numb....like 10 to15 min.

But thank you for all the info you sent me...maybe that will give him a head start as what to look for.

Again ....A huge Thank You for all of your support........You guys are the greatest

Well I went to see the heart doctor this afternoon

Mostly talked and typed on his puter....I showed the info 1K9 sent me and his reply was the first thing 1K9 should have told me was to stop smoking......LMAO..............Hell I am 70 yrs old and smoked for the better part of 64 yrs....I did stop smoking in 2004 after the heart attack an started back in 2007.
In 2004 when I had the heart attack I was 6'1 and 194 lbs. and in late 2007 I was 262 lbs and still gaining and starving my self.

The nurse did a half ass job of checking blood pressure in left arm and 5 min. later checked the right arm.

I had one jump beat in the EKG....blue tint in big toe nails....no pulse in foot, then went and got a Doppler thing and after a min. or so he heard some sound and about the same in other foot.

He has schedule some more test next week and more in the middle of Jan. in the new year..

So that is the update so far

I did tell him I would like to be able to ride my M/C again......He said he would do his best to get me there......AMEN

Hang in there, you never know when they will come up with some new wonder drug. I was about to give up on my four motorcycles, as my arthritis was/is kicking my butt. Finally got on prednisone, and feel like a new man! Had the Rocket out for a ride yesterday, no problems. Old age sucks, but there ain't much we can do about it.
