So in theory I could hook it up and it'll just do small tweaks to my base tune. I wouldn't have to set anything?

It will tweek the signal going to the injectors. You can leave the AFR settings as is. But most likely you will need to adjust the switch points to your liking and riding style. And you will want to.

fair enough, and I relaize you had dobek do the adjustments fo ryou but how does someone just determine "this is what this setting should be"?

Dobeck used my bike to determine the best AFR settings and develope the program to control the injectors. It works great as is. No worries the AFR settings will be right. Pesronal tweeking of the AFR and switch points is done right on the AFR gauge. Very simple to do. The adjustments for the switch points are also simple and you set them to where you like them. The best way to understand it is to buy it. Call Dillon at Dobeck and tell him I sent you.
