Hey guys just gone over to the darkside. I see the guys are using 245, 225, 215.
I went the 245. Now the change over went fine no problems at all. Until I notice this on the left side the tyre is rubbing on the drive shaft. Plenty of room on the right side though. So has anyone had this problem. Anyone running 245 tyres what clearance do you have between the tyre and shaft..
Any thought and ideas would be great guys...Cheers

Assuming your spacers are installed correctly it probably has to do with brand/model and size. Not all tires are the same size despite the naming convention. The left side has less clearance than the right because of the shaft, even with MC tires, I only have a touch over an 1/8th inch of space between the tire and shaft drive housing using the widest 240.
I know the RE-71 Bridgestones 215s are wider than many competitor 215s. Same goes for the 240 MC tires, Metzler, Bridgestone, Avon, all listed 240s but there is a .7 inch difference in width between the widest and narrowest.
