Just replaced front Avon Cobra this morning - $268 fitted on the spot. I had ordered it in so I knew it was there but I just dropped in cold and in less than 20 mins was out of there. Highly recommend Joe's Motorcycles to anyone remotely near Canberra. Is there anyone??????

Got 10,400km out of the old one, worn almost smooth and pretty much dead even from edge to edge (ever so slightly more left on the left due to our camber). Can't wait to "rough up" the new one a bit over the weekend.

So yu already knew about the "quick-turn" feeling you get from a Cobra on the front. I was wondering if that might offset the "hard-turn" feeling you get from a CT on the rear? Might they offset each other in combination?

must say that's a lot cheaper than I was quoted down here on the coast for a cobra, my prices involved me taking of the wheel and taking it in!!... might have to ride the 1 1/2 hours up to canberra for the next tyre does he stock Shinko's Richard(canberra3)

Closest I came to having a car tyre on the back of my bike was when I had to take a rim in to have a car tyre put on for my car. Ha ha. have a pic somewhere and was going to post it but now I can find it.

Don't know if he stocks them, Hanso, but just give him a call and he'll get whatever you want.

add just 2 psi at a time. Your doing it right.

I added 2 psi yesterday morning and that alone made a world of difference. I left out of the drive way and first thing I said to myself was "Now I can deal with this!"

I'm at 30 psi .... 160 lb rider.

I'm a cheap bastard so I need to wear the front out a bit more.

No it isn't. I was thinking about going this route when I needed tires but the nail in the rear tire made up my mind for me.
