Indian Roadmaster Indian Soringfield
I am seriously considering the Corbin fairing for my R3 Storm.
I really can’t find any feedback from someone who has done this.
It’s pretty spendy - has anyone installed this who can give us a good summary of how effective it is?
My other question is on the amp/speakers in the fairing.
Are they worth it. Again that alone is over $500.
I love the bike but the windblast at highway speeds is strong.
I currently have the 7Jurock. It works somewhat but the looks are meh!

Same question for me actually. Also curious about ease of install and removal.
 
If you call Engle Motors in Kansas City Missouri. They did the full install on a Corbin fairing and bags and may have some feedback on their experience. They did mention to me that it took some fiddling.
 
I'm wondering the same. I went from a Rocket 3 roadster to a Bonneville bobber (dumb story, fun little bike), the to an Indian Roadmaster, then an Indian Pursuit, and finally to the R3 storm GT. The roadmaster was the first bike I had with a fairing, and I'd say most similar to what the Corbin on one of our bikes would be. I don't see how the Corbin fairing couldn't be an improvement in terms of wind resistance on your upper body. But, when you have a fairing that moves with your front wheel, you notice things like turbulence from semis. The pursuit I had was a major improvement for that sort of thing... but, I'm likely going to get the Corbin fairings and their saddle bags.

Regarding the audio, the cost is likely worth it if you want to listen to music. Both my Indians had speakers in the fairings, I want to say 50 or 100 watts, nothing crazy. Good enough to hear at highway speeds.

I'll post something whenever I get it, but will probably be a while.

I think turbulence from semis sucks no matter if you have a windshield/fairing or nothing. Thing about no wind protection at all is the highway wind beats you constantly. I hated it when I first got the bike and had nothing. I'd put my feet on the pass pegs (not easy on these bikes) just to be able to push against the wind. Something that made a big difference for me was mid position pegs to rest my feet on once in 6th on the highway. Really cut down on turbulence from wind riding up my legs in the forward peg position.
