Chrome overflow resevoir

The sky's the limit with bottle types. I ended up using an oil catch can, but I've even seen guys use an aluminum water bottle (like a camelback or coffe thermos) and drilling a line out hole in the bottom.

What's the MINIMUM recommended capacity? I've seen the auto ones at 1qt, but I thought the stock one was about 24oz? Can I go as low as 16oz? Or does it need to be bigger than that?

the quart would be your safest bet better to have a little extra than run short

Take the plastic one dry and slowly fill it with measuring cup. Find out what the min line holds and the max line and then full all the way.

Go to http://www.weapon-r.com Type in the search window "overflow" and you will get a plethora of choices. Some I haven't seen!

Thanks stripes! This is a pretty old thread that got pulled back up; I went with a summit can in the end. Though I'm sure that link will help somebody out there

Well------ you don't know 'till you ask!!!!!!
I've never asked , but often wondered why that tank is there ?? tucked in behind the bear claw, can't see it.. can't see through it??
Can't say, I can see what use it is??? Can it not just be discarded?
Enlighten me please.

WELL?????????????? WTF does it do??????

Takes up space and disrupts air flow mainly. It is supposed to hold overflow coolant from your radiator
