Boot suggestions ?

Thanks all for the suggestions. Took mine to the local shoe repair. $65.00 later they are like new again. He was amazed at the condition of the uppers considering their age (bought in Sturgis in 1991). I'm figuring the constant bath in Harley 70 wt. will probably preserve them forever.

Indeed, Amigo. I arrived home last weekend. I definitely enjoyed meeting you whilst in Enid and hope to see you in Ouray next year.

My ride-a-bout was an odyssey of 11,500 miles and just over 6weeks.
I LOVED every second of it and would ride out again tomorrow if I could afford it.

In my opinion:
America is NOT about the big-ass cities and slabs - it's all the other folks and the two lane roadways that make America great!

The same imo applies to ALL countries.

Where the hell is the attraction of (amongst others I personally have been to ) London, New York, Paris, Frankfurt, Vienna, Madrid, Lima,..............?

OK maybe I draw the line at going so far off the beaten track you need to play the banjo and squeal like a pig - but .............

I love mountainous areas.

these are the ones i use and i have never had any issues what so ever. even wore them up at the snow recently, three days of constantly in ice, water etc and nothing other than comfort.

if you dont like the look they have plenty of options on the bike tab. i wore mine at a 14 day combat training camp which meant the only time the boots were off was when I was in the shower.

they are awesome boots mate. just make sure the height is ok. i reckon they can get hot being that high up.

i got my feet measured and drawn by a local podiatrist, sent them that and they delivered them by post to Australia a few weeks later.
