I would like introduce "Black Betty", my new addition to the garage herd, a 2004 Triumph Thunderbird Sport. With a R3 and a MG Touring already nested in, I wanted a smaller bike for short runs. Back and forth to work, quick trip to the hardware store, or a covert trip to the Dairy Queen for an M&M Blizzard.
I had a Sport a few years back, and sold it to purchase a vintage Triumph. I have regretted that decision since then. I have spent the past couple of months bobbing here, adding a little bling there, and in general setting it up for my needs and personal tastes. Being 70 years old soon along with the riding position of this machine certainly does dictate the function of bike, but there is just something about the Hinckley Triples, and the TBS in particular, that rings all the bells for me........
