Nice job Tony looks very very good. What happened the torsional damper cover (guessing you might be updating bearings etc with the Triumph update kit, which includes the black cover)?

Also what is the story behind the lack of a cam cover gasket?

Also noticed the C00L engine number, did the engine come from USA or is it an Oz one?
(my stroker engine originate in USA and has this number format, which is different to UK engine format)

I took the torsion cover off the do bearings and did not want to chance the sand blaster with the rear seal - so I made a cover. As for the cam cover gasket I only just removed it fo paint as it would create an unpainted edge under the gasket.
Engine number I have seen a few VIN’s with COOL in it but never an engine number..

BTW what changed with the updated torsion cover?

The paint colour for some. ;) :):whitstling:

I am unsure they changed anything in the cover casting itself besides colour and part numbers.

I have a new T1260441 in front of me that came with the update kit for early silver engines.

T1260133 was the original Silver painted version later part numbered T1260441 as the silver painted version .
T1260234 was the 1st Black painted version later part numbered T1260442 which is the current Black version

Here ya go @Mittzy
Just for checking any differences!
Check the photos out here for any differnces if you can. Looks a like a storage ding on one edge at least and possibly out of round now. I wouldn't buy this at virtually new retail price!
