Turbocharged
One of the things that impresses me about Litgear is the bluetooth integration with the bike so the lights on your jacket respond to brake, turn signal etc. That's some DEcosse level sorcery right there.

Anything can be adapted. The question is more "is it sensible".
I am sure that I have seen vests and stuff for Joggers and even dogs on ebay etc.
I can't see the original post as it's on facebook. But I can guess. A solution for a non-existent problem.
Personally - I do happen to think that MACNA in Holland have a good idea - Their Night-Eye gear is interesting.

I found some inexpensive retroreflective adhesive strips that are black until hit by light, when they lite up bright as heck.

They're all over the place in many colors made by 3M. You can also get them made into decals to add some stealth "messages" that only appear when headlights hit them too.
