no .. . matter of fact I found one ( 140/80/r17) yes I know it is a rear but it fits purfectly the front wheel (turned around naturally) now I have two sets of my fav tires on a shelf and good rubber mounted so I figure two or three seasons worth,,
this is the one but only paid $ 149 Avon AV46 Azaro-ST Sport Touring 140/80 x 17 Rear Tire | Old Bike Barn
@albertaduke , I would like to try one of them. I just installed a Avon Cobra 140/75VR17 (about .570" in diameter smaller the the Azzaro) on my front to see if how it rides being smaller whilst my rear suspension lifted. Hopefully I can test her out tomorrow and if needed change adjust the length of the rear and maybe mess around with the compression adjustment up front. Of course I am hoping no adjustments are needed (DOUBT IT) so I can ride more

Ya that is why I went with the Cobra. I am also going to try a set of the Michelin Commander II tires front and back to see how well they wear having both the same type on the front and back.

I have Avons on the front and back. They were on the 2007 bike last year when I bought it used, with only 6000 miles. I assume it's the second set of tires but I don't know when they were put on the bike. There seems to me a lot of tread but the ride seems a little squirrely. Could the tires be brittle because of age? Even though they wear out faster, I prefer the softer Metzlers.
Have about 1,000 miles on Cobra Avon's . Rides a lot better than the Metzlers. Thought the Avon's would not do well on wet pavement, thought wrong. Not only better Handling but the tires look great on the Rocket X.
