New Avon Cobra Chrome - any good

I have set up this page in the hope that someone from anywhere on the globe can get their hands on a set of cobra chrome tyres and put them on their R3 - giving us all an honest review. Grip dry and wet and wear rate when possible.

Man, I love chrome as much as the next guy but... chrome tires?!? Seems like they'd ride pretty hard. Not to mention keeping up with the scratches...

I stand corrected. Still not sure how much difference in mileage? If not better I'll stick with the exedra max. Although I'm hoping the battle criuse takes over. Either way size wise you are correct.

I called them about these last week out of curiosity, allegedly they'll provide the same grip level with somewhat longer life.

More detail about the difference between the Cobra and the Chrome they were not forthcoming with.

I am willing to put a set on cos my current set are nearly done - don't know when they will come online here in Oz. I do have the benefit of working only a few blocks from the importer so I will be paying them a visit soon to see when they will have stock.
