Apes anyone?

That's a pic from the Rogues MC Blogsite I think .. Dutch 1%er outfit that have the best time by the look of the stuff they post. They love their Harleys and actually ride them. Build some pretty radical high-neck choppers in their clubhouses over the winter months.. have their uni-cycle races a couple of times a year.

I didn't know where the picture came from, but that thing looks fun

I really would have guessed it was a redneck creation. Good to know 'Merrica don't have the market cornered on rednecks.

Quite possibly invented by a amphetamine user .. originally intended to be a trike but just never got around to finishing it .. too busy running around 22 hours a day ...getting sweet f#ck all actually finished

Ok, I've been waiting for this thread. Years ago, I put a Heritage Softtail handlebar on my Road King to help with getting the bars closer to me without having to change out the cables. Heritage bars are the same as the Chubby 8 inch Baby Apes. I want a few inches higher and the wrists turned out more to help my hands to stop going numb. I wonder if the Chubby "Baby Apes" Would just bolt on. They are wider and have a better hand position. Yes, I already have the R3T Risers, but don't like the wrist angle.

Larza, are you getting Apes, or selling your Rocket? I saw your add in the Classifieds. Great looking bike dude. Love the black out look

with mini apes 10"? or so, you can adjust back or forward more so than with standard..I've got thunderbike Tbars on Rivco risers and it still isn't quite right..and there is no adjustment with that set up..well, maybe just a little..not really enough to make a difference..mini apes is probably the way to go..

Had a mad moment where I thought I'd sell her, go bikeless over the winter then buy a Roadster in March but I took her out and did 500 miles on her this weekend and you know what?....I just can't bring myself to sell her So (minish) apes it'll be, amongst other bits and pieces, this winter
