the gear box is soooo smooth it is hard to believe it came from same company, I rarely use clutch for up shifting, only use it for down shifting and taking of and stopping

I was really looking at the Harley vrods when I found the rocket. Glad I chose the rocket, but would still like to own a modified vrod some day.

More than likely after much thought and still thinking may just go ahead and buy another Rocket. Only this one I'll go with the Carpenter set up all the way and a custom paint job. Kind of holding out until the new year and see what happens to the price of the 2018. Harley is up for sale again. Been a few who are interested in it. Only have about 500 miles on the S&S motor. Here is the real kicker. Back before i saw the Rocket X almost bought a BMW sport touring bike. Never owned a sport touring bike and thought at the time it would be a good idea. Then i saw the ad for the Rocket X. The rest is history.
