Just Kidin, you should both come down to Araleun to the Hat Rally this weekend stay overnight that will toughen ya up Amanda then you will be right to ride up to Hervey Bay and besides I will be have a very steady run up there, can't afford to lose any more points not to mention a wife on the back and towing the camper, so no excuses and if she starts to get a sore but I'll even take my Airhawk off and let her use it, there how's that for deal I'll sacrifice my Butt for you Amanda

I meant what I said about the Air Hawk and make sure she reads my post, I remember back in the early 70s just not had my licence very long, my first long ride I was Sh1ting myself and I was wishing I had someone to ride with, it was scary back in those days the Hume had potholes that could eat a whole bike and spit you out but after the first 100 miles I realised just how awesome it was being out there wind in the face having a ball there is no freedom like it. I still get a buzz out of long roadtrips.
I guess what I am saying Amanda is that you will have not just one but several guardian angles watching out for you so you will not be alone and staying on the speed limit is not a problem I can controll myself, nobody can force you but I know one bloke that would be proud as punch that his little lady rode up there and I know you would enjoy it once you got out there and tried it, there will be regular stops to rest the butt

You guys are great. I'll give her a little time to feel more confident on it but she's already got a Rocket grin - must feel like a Rocket after the Virago - so you never know.
I rode it home and it's an absolute delight. Such a nice bike to ride. Easy but with plenty of poke. Only thing I'd want for me is Speedmaster bars - and some shorty pipes. Can't wait to be able to open it up - if I'm allowed to ride it, that is.
