Peninsula Triumph - Aug 13 - Aug 14
Port Orchard,
I have a Roadster with TORS and underseat K&N and just got TuneECU and some dyno tuning; 131 hp/148 ft lb torque. TuneECU with 100% open secondaries everywhere, air fuel richer bottom and top and a bit richer through the middle, timing +2 degrees, 6700 rev limiter, speed limiter raised to 299 km...
Jardine Products just finished crafting the new 2010 Triumph Rocket III Roadster full exhaust system.
I called Chad at Jardine Products yesterday to get more info on the new system. He didn't have much to say other than the system was completed within the last week and he hadn't gotten the...
Don't wanna cross post.
in case you performance guys don't look into the other categories:
please look into this thread: http://www.r3owners.net/rocket-iii-roadster/7960-just-got-dynoed-130-hp-does-not-impress-me.html
thanks for any input!
A buddy is replacing his original Roadster shocks with 1" lower shocks and giving me his new OEM Roadster shocks for my 2008 RIII Classic. What should I expect the change to be? I'm hoping for a softer, or less harsh, ride. Will this be achieved by swapping out my originals with the Roadster...
Just a little info roadster riders may be interested in.
Even though Pazzo levers are listed to fit models up to 2007, they actually do fit all models including the latest Roadsters. (not sure about touring models)
This came direct from Pazzo after I emailed them about fitment. They...
What TuneECU downloads are available for thr Roadster?
I just installed the triple K&N’s yesterday.
My next plan is to install the jardine header with pipe (that may or may not be open with no baffle) on the right side only.
Thanks.
After fitting the rear dresser bars and Leather Bags, my wife barely has any room to put her feet on the rear pegs.
The long pipes get really hot too and there is barely any clearance, so if her foot dangles off just slightly, it's free tattoo time!
Anyone know if rear foot-boards would fit...
Hi all well counting the days, pick up the new Roadster in central OZ on Thursday and first ride 900kms to the north of Queensland, first service then continue North to Cairns.
Any Rocket or Roadster owners in that area ???
I have been very curious about what exhaust would fit the Roadster since I first heard about the new bike and the crazy big 3-1-2 exhaust. I knew everything was different after the collector. There are 3 cats (one under bike, one in each can), it's heavy, and the exhaust somehow still makes more...
Tunes for Roadster, open secs, ignition adjusted, mimics GI Pro
Gents,
attached is a Roadster tune with the following characteristics.
* OEM adjusted for Roadster TORS, which means based on map 20355.
* fully open secondaries on all gears, all rpm
* Ignition tables copied to be the same on all...
Finally took a few shots of my Roadster:
I also took some shots of the exhaust, as it is one of the primary changes for the Roadster. I thought people might be interested in having a peek at what Triumph did under there .. you know, so we can all decide what would have been better. :)...
Gents,
I had the 020355 Tune uploaded from my Roadster. no problems.
changed to 100% secondaries on all gear, all rpm.
changed to new top speed.
downloaded to the bike, no problem. turned ignition off, waited 10 seconds and turned on in order to reset TPS as described in the manual.
I cannot...
Ok people, time for some updates. I have the GiPro on my roadster and have been working with the guys at GiPro to check things out (as it's the first Roadster test).
Everything hooks up fine, so instructions haven't changed. The Roadster does have the pink wire, like the Touring (instead of...
I have a couple months to decide which exhaust to purchase for my new Roadster. I just need some help narrowing it down to one. I've already eliminated a few systems. I cannot get the TOR's they are only for the non-Roadster. The Preds are hard to come by, though they look and sound great. D&D...
OK, I'll never call myself a "Cruiser" rider, but I am proud to own and operate a Rocket.
I am not new to Triumph. I own a 1998 Daytona T595. I love the bike, but I just don't see myself riding a sportbike anymore. Even one as comfortable as the Daytona. I'm a 6'8" guy and the sportbikes are...
Does anyone make a "test pipe" to replace the cat on the roadster? I would like to get rid of that in an effort to improve the breathing.Talking to the shop , they suggest that Triumph may be offering an "offroad" exhaust, but I have not seen anything concrete yet.
Hi all, just thought to say hello to everyone on the site, just got my new roadster and what a bike. Even been out in the rain today just for the hell of it. Brilliant bike.:D
cheers
Does anybody know if the TOR's have eliminated the cats. I understand they are in the exhausts. They're lighter than the stock cans, but I'm not so sure they're gone. Sure thought it would sound a little louder than it does. The R3 classic with the 3 pipes sounds a lot better to me. Anybody...
