Hey out there, does anybody know the bore size of the front master cylinder
on a 2008 R3T. I was hoping somebody could answer this without me having to
unbolt mine to check. It must be something like 17 to 19 mm?
Maybe somebody noticed when changing riser or other work.
At the end of this month (weather permitting) I will be riding home on my 2013 Phantom Black Rocket 3 Touring.....80 miles from Wilkes-Barre, PA to Binghamton, NY. I can't wait! What Iam somewhat apprehensive about is backing this beast up.....how hard is it on smooth blacktop? I remember trying...
R3 front and rear springs/shocks
Is it worth replacing the front springs on my 06 R3? if so which ones? Also is it worth replacing the rear shocks? which ones on those too.
Doing the front shock oil seals and thought about going with progressive springs. And maybe do the rear shocks to, to get...
I have 19,000 miles on my 06 R3 and the one front oil seal started leaking. Has anyone changes these? Is it a job? I Have changed oil seals on my old dirt bikes years ago. Any info would help.
Thanks,

Does anybody have a chrome oil tank on their R3T? I've never seen even one picture anywhere. Isn't it an accessory that you can buy, same as on the Roadster?
I'm at 17K miles and will soon go in for my first valve adjustment. I was considering removing the head and having my friend port, mill and maybe even big valve the head.
If I do this, I'll be in need of a better flowing header. I have good flowing D&D's that are loud enough. I have been told...
Stopped by today and noted a shot of what must be the coolest looking r3 I've yet seen...nedjmartin's V-Max-like badassed machine! The intakes! I must have sum! What are they and where can I get a set???? Look like something from Kewlmetal or HD. Very fetching indeed! Bob tail rocks too...
Supercharger Intakes on R3T...Pics
While my bike is in little pieces in my living room (yes, i am single sometimes ) I decided to get over the K&N thing and get a little darker for my aspiration needs.. I picked up 3 silicon supercharger 90 deg. elbows and cut the inlets and outlets...
what i have left is the passenger quick release back rest
solo luggage rack
the long haul seat
and the driver back rest
2 oem clutch cable slightly used
fuel pump seal
Okay, I've verified my cable (twice), downloaded the latest Tuneecu software, drivers downloaded and used, and a test map downloaded for me to look at before I actually plug into my bike.
All I'm wanting to do is to unrestrict my first three gears and be done. No other mods at this time...
My first post, so greetings to you all and I hope that things are going well in your part of the world.
I've had my R3 Touring for nine months now and feel that I can now start my search for essential accessories knowing what it is that want.
I know I'm coming in a bit late on a number of...
I prefer my R3R with a clean rear fender and no pillion seat.
Has anyone come up with a back rest that does NOT require the use of the rear seat?
Thanks for any input,

I was watching the Science Channel show this morning "How do they do it" and they featured an segment on the production of Rocket 3's. Anybody else seen the broadcast? I believe it was titled, How the world's largest production motorcycle is made." The assembly line in the Hinckley plant took...
I purchased an extended tire warranty with my 2011 Rocket 3 Touring.
I've got it at a friend of mine who has a shop in his garage and is doing a few things to my big girl. He's installing the Hagon Nitros, will adjust my handlebar and lube the shaft drive.
The bike has under 3k miles on it...
Has anyone here ever seen a R3T with the bags removed and the bike customized to look more like a stripped Harley bagger? I wonder what one would look like? New brackets to support the mufflers and pull them in closer to the bike would have to be built, but it might not be too bad of a...
