Rocket 3 R storm Swing Arm Casting Marks

I have the casting mark on my 2025 but its no where near as bad as that and if you didn't know about it you would never even see it.

Yeah that’s Triumphs excuse for not replacing swing arm under warranty - The trouble is I now have an IXIL exhaust fitted which looks and sounds great but the casting mark on the swing arm is on show and sticks out like a sore thumb when you know it’s there !!

Yea you would have to use bondo or something then paint the swing arm

The thought of filler and paint repair on my new bike swing arm makes me feel physically sick

The thought of having to pay for replacement swing arm because Triumph refused warranty claim makes me feel even worse

Well,
we will give you photos of our casting marks, use that a reference to put your case again with triumph,
show them how come all other bikes have minimal casting marks and yours has bigger one, i.e. quality process was not followed correctly and someone passed that part to save a rebuild.

I have already tried that with a photo of another Rocket 3 with an Ixil exhaust and absolutely no casting mark on swing arm and Triumph still claimed that the casting mark is part of the manufacturing process and is not considered a defect - also because it is hidden from view in what they call a B area and by the original exhaust the casting mark under the powder coat finish is considered to be acceptable - I disagreed with this on a premium expensive bike but got nowhere and they still refused to accept my warranty claim -see attached photos of unmarked swing arm

Hi - I totally agree regarding quality control and I have expressed my disappointment regarding swing arm casting Marks on my bike when others are totally unmarked but Triumph refuse to recognise this as a fault with the swing arm finish - I would be interested to see photos of other members swing arms
