WA wait a while

When I lived over there I was always told WA was "Way Ahead"....... you are right though, its "Wait Awhile" as everything is ex east !!!

Mate, that's not a silly as it sounds. With more and more internet purchases we'll see more retailers choose not to stock tyres they might not sell. WA probably IS ahead of the rest of the country and we could all have to search and/or wait in the not too distant future. While I do have a slight vested interest I'm way more concerned as a consumer that I mightn't be able to get a tyre fitted where and when I want or need one. That will be the real cost of saving a few dollars.

New Avon cobra fitted today, also picked up a trickle charger and some oil while I was there.
I tried on a Shoei NXR helmet but my chin hits the front off it. Will have to go to Helmet House and try some different brands.

First Iive R3 I ever saw was parked outside Helmet House...belonged (s) to the owner...

What did you think of the Shoei Kel ?? other than your chin didn't fit into it I mean.

Looks good, nice and light to. It was XXL that I tried on fitted good except chin hitting. I will keep looking to find something to fit my big boof hesd.

Maybe give a Kabuto a try (formerly KBC). I don't know if they have more chin room but they're lighter than pretty much anything else, made in Japan and half the price of Shoei or Arai. They look pretty similar to my XR1100 actually and if that wasn't so new I'd be getting a Kabuto.

Helmets are tricky .. or is it heads that are tricky .. got to try the ***cers on anyway, that's for sure. Good luck with the search Kel .. the ones Richards recommended must be a good lid cause I know he loves his Shoei.

I have an open face Shoei that 15 odd years old, love it. Also have HJC full face that I don't like much.
I only use the full face in the winter when its wet and cold, thank *** winter is nearly over. Gives me plenty of time to find a good fitting one.

Had a look at the Shark helmet range ? .. picked one up for Catherine , pretty spacious in the area you are looking for. Maybe worth a squiz .. the model with the integrated tinted visor is a really quiet helmet.
