I'm still on the fence about shocks. I'm considering Ricor.
Anybody out there in Rocketville have these? I'm unhappy
with the B.S. that Progressive says about the 444 and the other
models only get a lukewarm endorsement. Hagon Nitros get good
reply, any other brands in use good or bad input would be helpful.
I'm considering Suspension Technologies, but nobody can give me
any info/opinion about them. I'm looking at 13" for cornering.
I want adjustability for solo and 2 up.

Racetech USA make rear shocks for the Touring model .. wish they'd make them for Standards and Roadsters. They are a funny colour (baby blue from memory).... but being Racetech they'd work well.

And they're not "Tourers" - they were Classics made c. 2007 - they are "Tourings". The T in R3T stands for Touring. ;)

Updated opinion on shocks.

08 to 12 are identical in every way.
Racetech makes shocks..... = about two months worth of house payments!
They are WAY to proud of their stuff! I guess they don't care to sell shocks.
I've been interested in Ricor, but don't know much about their stuff.
YSS is also interesting, but not alot of feedback from users. Meanwhile, I guess
I'll have to just keep looking.

Young fella I know has YSS shocks on his Harley Streetrod .. he rides hard and he loves them. YSS started by one of the head techs from Ohlins so I was told, decided to go out on his own.

I have YSS and I believe they are a reverse engineering of Wilbers.
I could be wrong, but they look nearly identical to the Wilbers, anyway.
And they are an excellent shock, certainly when compared to stock.

Are they stock length .. any chance of a pic or two. What did they cost you if you don't mind me asking ? Are the adjustable with both pre-load and dampening ?

If you want information on what Suspension Technologies USA can offer, call them at 813-658-9354. Talk to Mike Alex. He is the president of the company and very helpful.
