How do you get a map and load it into a PC5? Im giving up on findind a local tuner.
Hi Slim
Not sure how good with computers you are so will keep this basic, no offense intended here BTW.
I am guessing you have the PVC & AT200, don't try the below without.
You need a laptop and a cable (its a common one the same as many digi cameras comes with the PCV anyway). I would recommend Hanso's blanked map as its heaps better than the piece of sh*t Dynojet give you.
All you do is install the Dynojet software on your computer (pref a laptop so you can do this in the garage)
You need the Dynojet Powercore Software (its free) installed on your computer (very easy to DL and install). Once opened you select the button called "C3 Tuning Software"
Click "Open" Top Left then find Hanso's superb tune on your computer you will have saved this somewhere from him, I keep mine in my R3 Folder in another folder called "PCV Tunes", in another folder called "Current Tune in Bike" (have one for Tune ECU also) this satisfies my OCD

.
Once you have it opened you need to make sure your ignition is on (sometimes helps to pull the lights fuse so your battery does not go flat).
Hit the "Send" button (second block in on left). Now it loads it so fast you will think noting has happened, Tune ECU takes a long time to upload and download, the PCV is almost instantaneous.
At this point you are done. You may wish to disconnect then reconnect and push the "Receive" button as a check, you should see the map is now Hanso's map.
Now this is where I went wrong (and I'm assuming you have the AT? if you dont a blank map may not be of help as the AT actually fills in the map for you). If you have an AT you need to turn it on inside the PCV (I didn't and had issues

). Go to "Configure" select "Autotune", select "Enable", then go back and hit send.
I did this and it worked. Hanso knows far more about this stuff than I do, so if he says different OBEY HIM

.
Alternatively, hit the "Help" button on the C3 Tuning Software it opens up a manual with page after page of info, I read it all, you shouldn't have to
Hope this helps it worked for me.
