Tuneboy Modified Tunes

Scowherd this should work for you:

Here is Tuneboy's 20050_2 tune imported into Triumph's latest 20222 tune.It would be good for TOR's and K&N. I have also added some fuel in the appropriate places in the L tables to help with decel popping.

Just click on 20222_2.dat to download.

You also might want to try this tune. It is a dyno tune from when I had Maddogs and triple K&Ns. Several with TORs have run it an liked it.

Pig9R,

You got any updates to sams predator tune? I have his 3-1, unifilters,(with short velocity stacks) and currently running 12 discs with endcaps to keep the noise
down.. lots of soot at the tail pipe...

I plan on borrowing his PC3 as soon as I can locate a suitable tuner near me...

Here is Goodfellow's Predator tune, posted with his permission. There is quite a bit trimmed out of it.

(See tune library for tune download)

Reg,
go ahead and run triple filters and 12discs with closed end cap on the goodfellow tune.... should give you good gas mileage and pretty decent performance. this is set up for a predator exhaust, of course. :D I'm curious to see how it runs with the short v-stacks.:)

Merry Christmas....

Hello I just received my Tuneboy kit for Christmas and I freely admin I have yet to developed a clue on how to use it so....Here's my question.

I have a 2006 Rocket III, Jardines, K&N under the seat with the plastic molding stuck to the seat removed. I was considering the 20145_1 tune but since I don't have the individual air filters will this still work ok? If not, what do you recommend?

Thank you for all your help!

Thanks for the tune Goodfellow...

it ran really nice and crisp.. no issues, just did a little patrol around the area...no bogeys ... going to take the end cap off and try it without to see what I think of that

tomorrow.. did you advance the timing or anything? I guess I could openup the tune fle and see, but curious ..

also any change to speedo or anything.. I was meanign to lean out sams tune a bit to see what it would do...I really need to find a decent dyno shop near me so I can get a tune for my bike.

whats your setup? Besides the predator pipe?

Maverick- that tune is meant for a triple filter set up where there are filters on each throttle body, it would be way too rich for you. I would try the 20050-1 or 2.

Reg,

when I had the bike dynoed it was set up for gas mileage. the end result was 140 hp/141 tq. on this tune. The tuner gave me a much flatter power band from 2200rpm to 5900rpm. that's why it feels much crisper. I have a more usable power band with this tune and much better gas mileage. I tuned the bike with a car tire on the back, since this is what I run full time now. my speedo constant is now at 3325 for odometer correction with a 205/55-16 car tire. I'm running 3 k&n's under the bear claw. am also running 15 discs' and closed end cap on the super trap can,so your set up with the short stacks should breath a little better than what I have. I would run yours' 12/14 disc with closed end cap and see how that works out. If you run with the can open, use 2/3 discs on the back just to keep the scavenge velocity up to par. don't run with an open can on the open road, only at the drag strip or for bar hopping/ street fighting i/e stop to stop light. You might be running to lean for open road use with the open can..... my recommendations for a car tire are already known to you.

hope this helps, now open the can up and make some short hard hops.... then let me know what you think.... :D
