Right on, I've already flashed with TuneECU and I'll be eventually dynoing, so I guess we'll know for sure one way or the other.

Hey cl2eep,

Question for you... If you wouldn't mind... Noticed that you have a 2016, and you uploaded Hans0's tune? My dealer told me if I did that, it would void my warranty. So is your warranty void then? I'm afraid to pull the trigger because of it...

Is your 2016 stock?

I'm considering trying a tune that will richen things up a bit, by all reports the engines are set up lean.

Hoopla

After a few weeks of messing around and pulling out the little bit of my remaining hair, I figured out why my cable/software didn't connect to the ecu.
On my bike the headlight fuse also controls the instrument cluster. So the program must be sensing an error with the fuse out - since it can see the tach and speedo this makes sense - so I tried it with the fuse in and it hooked up immediately....

What a two weeks.....

I haven't flashed a Hanso tune, I flashed one from the TuneECU website. I didn't ask the dealer one way or the other, but my dad had his bike fixed on warranty after flashing tunes. The only thing you would need to do is flash a stock tune when you took it in, I don't think they would dig that deep.

That said, I honestly haven't found a tune worth flashing, though I've yet to get one from Hanso because he's laid out. I'm thinking I'm going to buy a Power Commander.

Ok, cool! Thanks for the tip. Maybe when I get the funds, I can get a power Commander

Instead of getting a PC, and having to pay a tuner, get with @1olbull to find out who his tuner is. Take a ride up to Washington. I believe his tuner uses TuneECU.

He do indeed.
2 Wheel Dyno [Google it] is his business and Nels Byersdorf is his name.

Nels will take care of you. I believe the high rpm fueling can be sorted out on a Dyno on the new roadsters. There's a weird work around but I'm confident in Nels, he wouldn't send a bike out that wasn't running safely.

That said, Nels will be getting mine to do a TuneECU tune that will FINALLY let me spin over 7000 RPM at some point soon with an updated version of TuneECU.
