Might be time to get rid of the bike I bought it new in 2005 and for the first time in 70000miles it did not start with the first push of the button, what kind of crap is Triumph selling.
If I have to push the button twice to make it start I will have to start working on some thumb exercises.

I wish youd've said something a year ago before I bought my 3rd one!

I feel so ripped off now! :mad: ;)

If Dave want chasing goats he would have enough energy to push the button all the way down to make contact the first time
:D:rolleyes::roll::whitstling:

Dave, I think the big book service manual says you have to grease or WD-40 that button every 10 years. Well it has been 10 years now. A single bump of the grease gun or a single shot of WD-40 should bring the button back to the 1 push standard you expect. :rolleyes:

You just gotta face up to it, mate, the bike's bugg ered. You're doing the right thing to dump it quick.

My offer of course, is fifty bucks, faults and all.

If you liked the awful waffle house you will be a cheeeep date:):D:roll:

I won't knock this one at all; food was above average for a Waffle House and I got a good show. Not sure what they call it but something like "He-woman man hater club for Lesbians". The old gorl was straight but the young ones were either coupled up with each other or leaving with thier partners. All I know about the one fellow that works there is that he is always late and won't talk with them anymore. Drama and breakfast, what a deal!

Scotty you should donate your RIII back to Triumph .. then they can dissect it and find out why it hasn't f#cked up like most of the others they have made .. think of it as a service to future Rocket Owners.

Tell me about it! My expensive little lady just cost me another $500 for her latest accessories shopping spree! She's such a "high maintenance" mistress ;)

Dave, your bike must be dirty and not making good contact, you never clean it!!!:D

Now that's funny, Dave NOT cleaning it enough.

The way Dave keeps the poor thing, I am surprised it's not infested with all types of vermin. Probably some type of Scottish spider nest in the housing........
