my buddy at the dealership confirmed I am getting one around the end of the month. I will turn it over to the shop while they repair my output shaft . the ignition and fuel stuff I can put that in a shoe box for next generation. in your kit did you get both bearing for the output shaft?

Ye duke both bearings come in the kit. I think I will order one tomorrow just for stocking up on parts.

Yes Patrick, Both bearings and the engine case part they ride in come in the kit. Be sure you order the right kit number for the black engine.

wow!! i respect that kind of work how about flying to calgary my cost and get extra cashola tax free room and board all the suds (full nelson) and grub we both can work on my R3 and fix it.
your dealer is full of granola ,,,,, I am getting the upgraded kit by month'end and I have a lift table in the garage

nice of you to offer the special tool I probably will lend it to the shop working on my bike IF and only if the cost of the estimate is reasonable .right now I am waiting for the kit and the estimate on the work
I do not have the gonads to reach inside and get the output shaft out etc, but I may have no choice what let me think that I possibly could do it is the tremendous help from members on this forum like you who have experience and done this rather complex job..if I have to do it and correctly fix it I will burn a candle or two to my favorite saint , luke the apostle a real beer connoisseur.
