They were laughing at me with 9 Ice Beers in me and Bobble head. STB cooked up some great food. It was good to get together. Worth the traffic hassles to and from. I know a few back paths that were not part of the mass departure. Unfortunately, you have to hit the main arteries eventually. Can't wait for the leaves to change.......

Here to tell you, @mully95 is the embodiment of Southern Hospitality. There are others I'm sure as hospitable -- hard pressed to be any better.
He took us around to see Lake Hartwell the forms part of the boundary between Georgia and South Carolina, taking us to the prohibited area ("Oops officer, what sign ?") and down to the pretty side of the river down from the dam.
His house is quiet and comfortable and Alien Covenant was playing.
Huddle House was nearby for a hearty breakfast, and back at his home, a total solar eclipse was icing on the cake.
