Hello gents.
I got my rocket not long ago and couldn't really ride it, still, I did about 5kms on her on apart from a little hesitation at 2k rpm, it ran fine.
Now I decided afterwards to do the basic maintenance on her. She had a plug that didn't fire correctly based on the dealer's report (and it felt so) so I changed the oil, the filter, the differential oil, all the 6 plugs, the breather and the air filters (I installed 3 K&Ns). I also chipped it with the jardines and k&n tune (I have TORS). Now I fired her up for the first time since I had done the maintenance this morning. Fired up with a bit of hesitation, as usual, and I had to boost her. Nonetheless, she ran OK, I got a check engine code for the MAP (checked via TuneECU) which was a first, but after a couple of seconds she settled and I let her do the TB balancing (I had reset the TBs in tune ECU as well), so I let her run, do the 12 minute tune (turned out to be about 17 minutes but anyways), kill the engine afterwards, go do a few things, come back about 2 hours later, try to fire her up, she cranks, nothing happens, try a few times, nothing happens, finally, boom, she fires up. Runs like ****e, have to hold the throttle or she just stalls, then she starts misfiring and backfiring like crazy, and the hotter she got, the worst it became. So at one point though I could let her idle a bit, leave her like that, after maybe 30 seconds, she stalls, all the while still backfiring like crazy. Did that a couple of times, finally got her to heat up enough so that the fans would start, I thought I'd let her go for another 12 minute tune, but she'd keep backfiring and pinging and it stalled.
So now, the question is, wtf could've happened ? The only thing I can think of is either bad fuel ( but I added new one and it didn't change a thing) or the plugs are ****ed (following the advices I got here, I put the one range colder). Now it's -3 celcius outside, could it be it's just too cold to get her going fine ?
Anyway, any bit of advice would be super appreciated...
