Arrr that explains it. I's a larger diameter because it's a 240/55 instead of 240/50 of Metz and Avon. Most (all?) of us using the Exedra Max love the extra size and pretty much everything about them.

just going back to the original Post they fede you bull**** and unless they patched the inside of the tyre the original hole can cause the tube to fail.
There is actually a Special motorcycle tubeless tyre plug patch which is a glue on patch except it has a long nipple in the centre.
The tyre is removed and it is put on from inside the tyre the fitter needs to use phenmatic burring tool to rough up the area inside the tyre, the glue is applyied and allowed to become tacky, a tool is inserted from the outside thru the hole and the nipple of the patch is fixed to it the tool is pulled back thru pulling the nipple thru and the patch seals from inside the nipple is trimed off and you have a perfectly safe plug.
Conventional plugs are not recomended for Motorcycle tyres for any more than an emergeny short term fix because the side forces exertede on a motorcycle tyre can dislodge the a normal plug.
In fact I was told by a dealer that if someone was involved in anaccident caused by the incorrect plug being used here in Australia the Dealer would be in deep **** it is illegal to use anything except the correct type of plug
