Front Tire Defect at 300 miles

New bike with a little over 300 miles. Trying to get some joy before the cold hits, and the Rocket gets grounded. Considering Avon pomp and circumstance (and cost) who would have ever thought? I am hopeful there isn't a frivolous warranty struggle as my dealership experience is good so far.

That's a defect alright. I once had a BMW spec front tire on my Trophy 1200 have a center carcass belt pull through the tire. The tire tread skewed out of shape so badly it was unrideable (like riding on a Flintstone wheel). Defects happen.

Wow, it almost looks like a burn. Did you ride through any welding or construction area possibly? Let us know how the warranty goes.

I had a new Avon Cobra Crome that was out of round and replaced under warranty. Stuff happens.
