Little update. Got to remove the wrap Sunday and take a shower. It was quite nice!

The wife and her friend the widow lady from next door got stuck into the wine spodeodee Sunday evening and didn't knock off until after midnight. So I seized my opportunity early Monday morning and made a break for it on the Rocket.

Did about 30 miles out through the country. No issues were encountered but I was being extra careful and just putted around. Won't be able to really get into normal riding for a little while longer though. The knee is too tight and tender to be on point with the rear brake.

First trip to PT this morning. Two little hot 20 something PT girls and what did I get?

Thanks M8! Not planning on going off the reservation for as long as possible. Going to be tough though. Not much for sitting around, already getting as twitchy as a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs.

Some of y'all that were in Stearns for RAA East this year might remember me gimping around with a brace on my knee. When we got home my ortho pulled 50mls of fluid out of it and 30 more the next week that had cartilage floating around in it.

Long story short, I just got back from surgery to fix the meniscus in 2 places, grind out a bunch of spurs and arthritis, and clean up the cartilage .

Doc said it went great and should be nearly good as new in a week or so.

The end poorly part? I am gonna be laid up for a few days, bored to death, eating oxycontin like peanuts, and have nothing better to do than hang out and post here.

Thanks for the warning! But seriously...I hope you feel better and recover fast!

Nah M8, with my rugged good looks and finely chiseled physique I took the crutches in so I could hold them off.

Didn't want both of them throwing themselves on me like school girls on prom night and hurting the knee before it healed ya know...........

A little update on the situation my situation is in.

Went back to work 10 days after the knee surgery and promptly tore an inguinal hernia in my gut.

Long story short, it is as @Tal says. 'Right next to my old fella'

Going under the knife tomorrow to patch it in with some glass mesh and JB weld.

Doc said maybe get to ride by November. None too happy about that.

Bad news is that this doctor don't prescribe painkillers. Good news is that I still have plenty left over from the knee surgery.
