There WILL be 2015 Tourings

Cute little pink swimmers you're wearing there mate. Why'd you put that bloke in the pic?

I wasn't going to mention anything about his manboobs given his pink swimmers. Feminine looking bloke isn't he...no wonder that gay stray standing behind him is jealous of the attention he's getting.

I might be wrong but I reckon there will be a touring and it will be the thunderbird not the r3 .

stone and wood now that's beer .ken if you ever get up to Byron bay or ballina .try it .

Hello Peter, The T-Bird LT is here in the States now. It does look the part, almost an exact knock-off or "Little Brother" to the R3T.

Stone and Wood? I will always try a brew I haven't had, at least once...

I saw those stairs again yesterday. We headed down to Flagler Beach for dinner at Martins. Had a 20 oz prime rib while we watched the lightning over the ocean.

Just got an email that we reached 15, they will be printed.

Edit:-opps, wrong thread.

I have been off line for a bit. I went to the Triumph USA site and noticed the aren't any 2015 Tourings. Que sara sara. My hats off to Tomcat. I was wrong. (see previous post.)

Earlier this year Jeremy at Baxter Cycles in Marne Iowa said that Triumph had announced to their US dealers that they could place orders for 2015 Rocket III Tourings. Baxter usually carries a large number of Triumphs, representing the full product line. Jeremy said that Triumph USA was taking the position that the Touring would continue as a model, and he expressed pleasure at this because the Touring had been a decent seller for Baxter.

Now, at the end of 2014, there are no R3Ts on their inventory. There are several of the assorted flavors of the Thunderbird, including some 2015 models.

It is just speculation, but my sense is that if there are any 2015s, they will be bikes that were held back from 2014 production so that they could be titled as 2015 bikes.

I'm glad I got my 2014. I bought it because of the speculation that 2014 would be the last year. I hope production is resumed. It's a great bike. But the market is quite crowded at this point, including the offerings from Victory, Indian, Harley, Honda, ... It's not that large a market segment, and with this many other marques vying for the small number or riders who would be up to an 875 pound behemoth, it's not surprising that the Thunderbird seems to be emerging as Triumph's continuing entry. The Thunderbird looks to me like it might have a better profit margin.

Better get your new Touring now if you think you want one.

If they go then they'll go - John Bloor would not keep a production line open if he can't exploit the whole world. If I'm honest - I'm not THAT surprised. Most vehicles have a 10 year life.
Spares - LEGALLY in the EU - Spares HAVE TO BE AVAILABLE for 10 Years. Normally at a PREMIUM.
I forsee R3's being sold in bits - they'll be worth more.

Triumph Spain is close to me - I keep meaning to visit. To ask for a job. Would asking "WTF are you stopping the R3, yer wallies" predujice my chances?.
