Stebel horn installed; in place of OEM horn

Will, how the hell did you pay $149 for that horn ? I got the Stebel in chrome from the HD shop of all places for $89.00. I also mounted it under the left side cover. I had thought of mounting it up front, but didn't care for the look.

I will say, that every bike made should come with this horn. Really gets peoples attention !

I saw it over a year ago on:

Motorcycle Air Horns : Motorcycle Apparel and Motorcycle Gear - BikerHiway

...and first purchased it for my VTX. Was led to believe that it was a step above the regular chromed version of the Stebel; but all that's different about it is a very stout front chromed cover. Shoot, the Wolo chromed horn has more complete chrome than this particular Stebel.

Oh well, got it and I'm still going to be using it.

I did purchase a chromed Wolo "Bad Boy" horn to put back on my VTX. I think I paid about $42,00 for it; the only problem with the Wolo's is that the chrome can be "polished" off if your not careful in cleaning it. Other than that, it's almost the same replica as the Stebel.

Kindest regards,

-Will

or you could just cover it up like I did with a different motorcycle part.
(Victory ignition switch cover on mine)
It keeps the water and bugs out and still doesn't restrict the sound AT ALL.
How much extra is the speckled stainless steel and glass?:D

Mine look a little like WILDROOSTER's.

Thanks for all the input. It helped a lot!! I had an easy time wiring the horn but a horrible time finding a place to mount it. I ended up buying the front crash bar and mounting it there temporarily until i find a spot that better hides this thing.
