Ship or ride

I'm finally purchasing a 2012 Roadster on Tuesday, here's my problem, the bike is in Ventura, California, and I live in Tucson, AZ, should I ship it? Or ride it back, I can get a free flight to LAX.

This time of year it shouldn't even be a question. I10 to Banning, 243 through Idllwild (bring your long johns), around the Salton Sea, across I8 to 85, down to Ajo and across 86 back home.

Take the free ride to LAX pick up the bike, ride it to" get back home."... It's 555 miles 8 hours..your bike will be broken in by the time you reach Tuson.... It took me ten minutes to get used to my Rocket,the hard part will be keeping it under the break in speed unless your new bike is already to go. Check all your fluids and enjoy the ride.

No brainer, as long as you're not uncomfortable with the prospect of riding 550 miles or so first time out.

I had the privilege if riding mine from point of purchase almost 300 miles in about 5 hours to get it back to the repaired trailer. What a ride!
