Rocket 111 Classic thermostat differences????????

Before engine # 616640 thermostat T2100715. After engine # 616641 T2100891? Apart from price, what is the difference? Does one open at a lower temp?

Most likely yes. The 2.3L Rockets had a temperature switch to turn on the axiliary rad fan at around 190 to 200 degrees F. The old 12 minute tune was really just letting it idle till that fan kicked on. The fan wasn't supposed to come on while riding but would come on if stationary at a traffic light or just idling and would stay on after engine shutdown until the fan temperature switch got below the setpoint. Putting in a lower temp thermostat got the fan to shutoff sooner.

I ordered the T2100891 and received the T2100715? Sent an email asking 'IF' they are interchangeable?

They are, i use both, they probably only offer 1 now, the one you got.
