RAMAIR FILTER CHANGE OUT

Got the unit in the mail from UK. Came fast...ordered directly from RAMAIR. Aprox 150 USD with shipping..not to bad as going to stock style K/N is 70.00 I'm good with the cost.....anyhow I think once I have it installed, I will change out plugs, silicone the wires (old school thinking) make the new hole into something useful under the seat..storage whatever, and I just downloaded tune ECU and have a couple of Jardine maps I was sent by some folks already. I need to recalibrate my speedo as it reads high anyway (aprox 5 miles after than what my actual speed is at 60 MPH) and I just found out I can calibrate my speedo using ECU. Just need to play poke and hope with the needed cable..hear some folks got some lemons form HKG..shocking....

I ordered mine on the 10th of Feb and it is not here yet. When did you order yours? I have an email into RAMAIR....

Yesterday, I finally got my Ram Air, OZ Claw and new overflow jug mounted.
I also downloaded my current Dyno tune by Nels so I have it for comparison after the new tune is done.
I be no tune guru and would appreciate a volunteer to help with the comparison after my next dyno and download.
@albertaduke - when are you going to Nels'? Perhaps we can hook up there?

I hear the puke bottle does not need to be moved I guess you CHOSE to move it ? I will go to nels somewhere around third week of may.
I got to go to france for 3 weeks april 15 to may06 after that I am free to go to woodinville my ride will be ready this saturday apparently ,,,and I have a possible buyer for the 06.

My thought was since the Oz Claw has an open intake air funnel in front, the OEM puke bottle would just block the air intake, so I removed it.
I haven't run the bike yet as it is currently rain puking up here.
I have just accepted a ride plan with Bro, Dan and Bro-in-law, Sam for April 6th so I'll have to hook up with Nels before that.

I Have Ramair with Power Commander. Did a Tuneecu tune so i could open the rev limiter and also the speed limiter( Can't do that with Power Commander) then overlaid the dyno tune on top. Because the rubber lips on the Ramair have broken due to me over tightening them (only needs 5nm) i am installing 3 k&n filters and chopping the bearclaw...will post some clips once all done....hoping the k&n s do the bizzo!

I got mine but am storing up the F-Bombs that are going to be dropped during the install. I watched the install vid and I know there will be obscenities as I have no beer or buds to self medicate and a wife that is an ISIS commander.

Did you get yours on yet? I am going to do mine at the same time I do the DP AFR+ and snake the EFI wiring through the pipe from where the Air Filter was to the EFIs and mount the Dobeck black box in the Air Filter void.
