Ramair and TORS 2014 Roadster

Tis not the addition of the RamAir that made such a huge gain, but the combo of both intake and exhaust improvement.
Check if you have a dyno tuner familiar with Tune ECU in your area.
This would be WELL WORTH, and your best results. Next best is for sure a Hanso tune.

Hey Guys,

So I also just received my Ramair and was hesitant to install in without the proper tune. So I have the DP shorty exhaust currently. So when I install the Ramair (coupled with the DP shorty exhaust), is there anything else I need? A power commander? or is the 12 minute tune sufficient? I also have the TuneECu cable/CD as well.....
I'm a little confused as to what else is needed? Please help. Any advice would be grateful!

Hi,
I'm no expert but the following springs to mind.
Is the Dave Platt shorty already installed? Do you have a tune for it or is it still stock? If it's still stock a 12 minute tune is a starting point. Some say the system learns itself others don't agree.
Re TuneEcu, have a good search on YouTube and familiarise yourself with its workings then save you existing tune before you do anything.
Ideally you need to ask Hanso for a suitable tune then using TuneEcu upload it.
When you get there you'll really appreciate the difference. Totally transforms the bike.
Be patient it's worth it.

Yes, I had the dealer install it and they put in a tune. But as to what tune, I'm not sure. It seems to run well...but have quite a bit of decel popping though.

Thanks for the advice.... yeah... good ol' youtube. I've already dropped a request with @HansO , so hopefully he can help.
Can't wait to get the Ramair installed as I heard it its a world of difference!

I bought a used Rocket Roadster with Ramair and TORS, but it seems that the need a retune the ECU. Someone has a good map that fits?
