Yes, read, and don't stop! Then experiment to make the concepts real to you. Start with physics 101 and progress from there. To really understand something you need know not just what and how, but why.

(but don't pass over dip in the road or you will have a pucker moment as the suspension can't extend further and inertia limits the chassis from following the road surface so the tire unloads and grip disappears just when you need it most.)
That there is EXACTLY what happens on the exit ramp towards our home. Fine in a car - but "exciting" on 2 wheels. Accelerating has to wait until the dip is passed. A nice covering of fine dust mixed with diesel help-eth not either. On Stock suspension the R3 would just top out in the dip and then bottom out on the other side of the dip. And with the decent suspension wallowing is no longer an issue - but the ruddy dip and subsequent ramp are still there. I just take the bend slower now - it's a function of age too.
I do appreciate that Chain drives squat - I was trying to get across (that bit about poor explanation raised it's head) that many suspension "shops" are experienced with chain squat but NOT with shaft jack. I think the worst shaft jacking I have experienced was on OLD BMW - Early 80's. Guzzis of that age are not that far behind.
Yup, until it’s banned or gets ripped off, it’s tested close to max often and no issues so far at the speeds I’ve reached, at some point I realize it’s probably gonna have to go though, just looks cool to me, big bagger pimpin

My son snapped these, that’s as close as I let him get, after seeing those pictures I realize I felt like Jeremy but then pictures don’t lie, grandpa kicking it
