I just drove through some of the hill country on my way to new orleans ( in the car) last month, and was thinking how i wish i had the rocket instead. The weather was nice ar the time too.(mid 60s) Wish you guys would do it this march or april. Itching to do a trip, and be nice to meet some rocketeers!

My wife and I, and another Rocket couple are planning a trip to the Salida area in mid May. Don't how far that is from you, but maybe we could hook up.

I really dont know . . . for a timeframe. I have a run to go to Labor Day Weekend in Paducah KY, and another in the October timeframe in south Florida. Other than that . . . kind of open. I just prefer not to take off for a week . . . back to work for a week and then gone for another . . makes for not much done at work. You folks work it out and if it fits in for me fine . . if not, I'll make the next one. I'm easy . . .

Why not...

I would give'r a shot...early say April or late say Sept or Oct would be best for me but don't change on my account. It is hotter the %*&@ way up north here in July and Aug so I gotta think it is warm in Tejas that time of year!

The other site is calling for a Salvo in the Hill Country for Spring 2010 (Apr/May). Can we make this one event? That way we can go ahead and call it RAA V.

Yes.. that was me posting over there to do this as well.. My "handle" over there is TnT..

I am tbsrider2000 almost everywhere because I had my Thunderbird Sport for so long, but when I got my Rocket, I didn't want to be tbsrider anymore, and I didn't know what to do.. hahaha.. hence the TXRIIIRider on this site, and TnT on the other site.. Although, I do like TnT.. Triumph in Texas..

I'm tempted to do the Maggie Valley NC, but have been planning on the Rooster Rally March 12-15 in LA. Rooster Rally. Ain't nuthin like partying wit dem Cajun folk! Plus, it would be great to have some Rocket company there as I seldom see any Triumphs at any rallies.

If there is A TX version of RAA (tx) in the fall, count me in!

Let see, you leave Maggie Valley on Monday morning (11th) and just a 10 hr ride to Delhi, La. You could even overnight on the way and be there for the 12th. No problem!!
